The office is located in the heart of the Manhattan Central Business District. The use of public transportation is strongly recommended, as it is readily available, travel times are more reliable than by automobile, and parking in midtown can cost $40.00 per day. The building is located at 33 East 33rd Street between Madison and Park Avenues.
Port Authority Bus Terminal (41st Street and 8th Avenue) (1.6 miles, approximately 20 minutes) – The Port Authority Bus Terminal is served by New Jersey Transit buses and numerous private commuter express bus routes from New Jersey; Orange County, NY; Rockland County, NY; and Pennsylvania. There also is regional bus service provided by Greyhound, Trailways, etc. Upon arrival at the Terminal, follow signs for the Subway. Enter the Subway and follow signs for the number 7 Line. Take the number 7 Line two stops to Grand Central Terminal. Follow the directions above from Grand Central Terminal. Alternatively, a taxi ride should take approximately 20 minutes and should cost approximately $7-$10. A taxi stand is located on Eighth Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets.
La Guardia Airport (8.1 miles, approximate travel time 40 minutes) – Travel via taxi is recommended. Taxi fare should range from $20-$30 plus tolls. The New York Airport Service bus also is available. The bus departs the airport every 20-30 minutes and travels directly to Grand Central Station. Newark Liberty International Airport (16.4 miles, approximate travel time 45 minutes) – A taxi ride or car service directly from the airport to the office should cost approximately $50 plus tolls and tip, but this option is not recommended at peak times. Travel via train is recommended during peak hours. From any airport terminal, follow signs to the AirTrain and take the AirTrain to the Newark Liberty International Airport Train Station. At the station, buy a NJ Transit train ticket to New York Penn Station. Take the train to New York Penn Station (30 minutes) and follow the directions from Penn Station above. The fare is $14 one way, which includes the AirTrain fare. NJ Transit trains run approximately every 10-15 minutes during peak hours, or every 10-40 minutes off peak. It is recommended that you check train schedules at www.njtransit.com before your trip. Finally, the Olympia Trails/Coach USA bus service is available. The bus departs the airport every 15 minutes and travels directly to Grand Central Station. John F. Kennedy International Airport (17.4 miles, approximate travel time 1 hour) – A taxi or car service is the most convenient option from JFK, but can take more than two hours at peak times (7am to 10am and 3pm to 8pm). A taxi ride from JFK to any destination in Manhattan is a flat fare of $45 plus tip and tolls. Travel via train is recommended. From any JFK Airport terminal, follow signs to the AirTrain. Board a train marked "Station D, Jamaica Station" and ride to the end of the line at Jamaica Station. Before you leave the AirTrain station at Jamaica, you will need to buy a $5 Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard to exit the fare gates and also buy a Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) ticket from Jamaica to Penn Station ($7 peak, $5 off peak; $3 city ticket available on weekends). Both fares can be purchased on one ticket, but only at the red LIRR vending machines. Take a LIRR train to Penn Station (20 minutes) and follow the directions from Penn Station above. LIRR trains run every 1-5 minutes peak and every 5-20 minutes off peak. Train schedules are available online at www.mta.info/lirr. The New York Airport Service bus also is available. The bus departs the airport every 15-30 minutes and travels directly to Grand Central Station.
