We are seeking an Accounting Intern who will be responsible for general support for all areas within the Accounting Department. We are looking for a college student (junior or senior year) currently enrolled in an Accounting major program. This individual will maintain timesheet, expense report, invoice, and accounts payable files, perform data entry functions, assist with preparation of weekly check runs, prepare invoice backup for A/R staff, and perform special projects as needed.

We are seeking to add a Document Specialist in our busy Cambridge headquarters to our Production Department.  This individual will utilize Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to produce technical reports and proposals following existing templates and styles.  Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator will be used to create basic business graphics and standard color presentations according to established templates and procedures.  The ideal candidate will possess strong document/word processing skills and intermediate graphic arts skills to support the products produced.  You will also be required to perform editing and proofreading functions; and will work on a variety of internal and external projects.

Freight Transportation Economist – Open Location (job code CVO000190)

We are seeking an experienced Economist with 3 plus years of experience to join our team. If selected you will support and lead studies related to freight economics and economic development, transportation policy, financial analysis, and related areas. Transit Project Manager – Chicago, IL (job code TPM000196)

We are seeking a Project Manager with 7 or more years of experience in transit planning, project development, and related disciplines. The Project Manager will lead and/or work on a variety of transit consulting assignments that may include system- and corridor-level analysis, land use, economics, finance, performance evaluation, environmental assessment, and other related technical areas. Transportation Asset Management Business Analyst – Cambridge, MA (job code TPM000219)

We are seeking an Analyst to join our team in our headquarters office in Cambridge, MA to assist with transportation asset management projects. These projects focus on helping transportation agencies improve their resource allocation decisions and the development and implementation of effective infrastructure maintenance and preservation programs. Topics typically covered in these engagements include: policy development, performance and risk management, project prioritization, and the application of IT resources to support business decisions. Work assignments may include performing data analysis, conducting best practice reviews, interviewing clients and documenting existing business practices, preparing and delivering presentations, writing reports summarizing findings and recommendations, and working with software professionals to design, implement, and support management information systems. Pavement and/or bridge construction and maintenance experience is helpful.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; 2 years work experience in Civil Engineering environment, evidence of strong oral and written communications skills; proficiency/familiarity with relational databases and SQL, as well as software development process; attention to detail; willingness to travel; and a desire for growth. Experience working with the U.S. DOT, state DOTs, transit agencies, and/or other transportation entities is highly desirable.
