Douglas County C-470 Corridor Toll and Revenue Forecast Study

Use traffic and revenue forecasting models to assess regional diversions and the economic impact of tolling alternatives for the C-470 Corridor.

FHWA Asset Management Planning

As part of a team, provide state DOTs with guidance on developing asset management plans that comply with MAP-21, including the development of support tools.

FHWA Virtual Data Access Planning and Management

As part of a team, provide technical assistance to support transportation system performance measurement and management applications for the Office of Operations Research and Development. A current task is developing a virtual data access framework using real-world data.

Oregon DOT Freight Chokepoints Study

Examine the points into, within, and out of Oregon’s port terminals and cargo airports to address major issues facing the movement of freight, and provide specific transportation infrastructure and efficiency improvements.

Oregon Statewide Rail Plan

Develop a PRIIA compliant Statewide Rail Plan while focusing on the analysis of economic and environmental impacts, and coordinating long-term corridor service and investment efforts with bordering states.

Chattanooga-Hamilton County Transportation Improvement Planning

Update the Transportation Improvement Program project selection process, including the development of updated planning guidelines and support tools.

FHWA Intelligent Transportation Systems Planning

Provide on-call services for the Office of Operations, including the development of policy, programs, projects, technical tools, and performance measurement, and other activities that support the advancement of the Agency’s operations.

Louisiana DOT Strategic Highway Safety Plan

Continue to provide services to support the implementation and evaluation of Louisiana’s 2012 SHSP, including data collection and analysis, stakeholder outreach, and the development and delivery of safety training courses.

Mesoamerican Climate Change Plan

Develop transportation tools and guidance to help Mesoamerican countries effectively address climate change and support adaptation decisions.

As part of a team, analyze the current regulatory review process and the organization’s structure as it relates to the regulatory process, as well as provide recommendations to improve the Agency’s overall process and effectiveness.

North Carolina DOT I-95 Corridor Economic Impact Study

Use traffic forecasting models and dynamic economic models to assess the economic impact of regional growth on tolls and on stakeholder acceptability.

Sao Paulo Freight Origin-Destination Study

As part of a team, analyze freight operations data, including O/D shipping patterns, modal use, and logistics costs, and practices of urban goods movement to enhance urban transportation models and develop strategies for improving logistics efficiency.

FHWA Freight Advanced Traveler Information System (FRATIS) Development

The FRATIS projects will deploy freight-centric real-time traveler information systems in Los Angeles, CA and the South Florida region, with new applications, including truck-friendly dynamic routing, reductions in terminal turn times, reductions in bobtail trips, and improved disaster recovery capabilities (in South Florida).

Oregon DOT Transportation Systems Performance Measures Study

Analyze current and future performance measures that align and support Agency and Federal goals, utilizing improved data collection, analysis, and reporting methods.

Washington State Road User Feasibility Study

Assess the feasibility of transitioning from the gas tax to a road usageer charge in Washington State, and develop a work plan and budget for further evaluation.

Update the California Statewide Travel Demand Model to meet a variety of planning and modeling objectives, policy issues, data, and analytic needs.

Florida Transportation Commission Expressway Authorities Study

Analyze project development, construction, maintenance, and operations to determine cost-saving and efficiency options among several expressway authorities across the State.

Caltrans Airport Transportation Forecasting Study

Use dynamic economic models and economic impact analysis to assess the benefits of linking California airports with regional land use and multimodal transportation planning.

Colorado DOT Operations Performance Measures Planning

Develop a framework of operations measures, including travel time reliability, as well as strategies that incorporate and support performance-based goals for inclusion in corridor planning, project selection and design, and investment decisions.

FHWA Dynamic Pricing Assessment

Review currently employed pricing schemes in the U.S. in order to inventory the array of strategies including variants from pre-set variable tolling to fully dynamically priced facilities.

FHWA Production Model Performance Reports Development

Develop performance report samples by selecting the measures, providing narrative, and creating the graphical approach to displaying the output data, as well as assisting the FHWA in determining how the reports will be delivered.

National Railroad Passenger Corporation Corridor Planning

Develop a new process for allocating costs of operating the Northeast Corridor among rail operators using the corridor in order to fulfill a Congressional mandate.

Continue to provide a broad range of support services to develop a Regional Transportation Plan, including emission reduction strategies and analyses.

Florida DOT District 4 Data Management and Analysis

As part of a team, continue providing services to develop a regional transit data warehouse for the four transit agencies operating in Southeast Florida for use in corridor and other planning studies.

Nevada DOT Strategic Highway Safety Summit

Assist in preparing and implementing a Statewide Traffic Safety Summit for safety stakeholders to discuss recent progress and achievements, as well as methods to improve the performance of the Strategic Highway Safety Plan.

Washington State Rail Plan

Develop a PRIIA compliant State Rail Plan while focusing on the coordination of long-term corridor service and investment efforts with bordering states and Canada, and the analysis of economic and environmental impacts.

Develop a methodology for measuring the impacts of new development projects on multiple modes of travel for inclusion in the DOT’s Traffic Impact Analysis Guidelines, including data collection and analysis; acceptability to stakeholders; and mitigation measures.

Maryland DOT Transportation Policy and Planning

Continue to provide comprehensive on-call services to address key issues in the State, including transportation vision planning; performance measurement; environmental policy; and statewide multimodal systems planning.

Mississippi DOT Joint Rail Corridor Economic Impact Study

Examine the role of rail assets on the State’s economic vitality and determine if there is a need for public sector intervention in privately held assets, including public investment and additional private sector capital to preserve threatened rail assets.

National Railroad Passenger Corporation Corridor Planning

NCHRP 25-38 – Input Guidelines for MOVES

Develop guidelines and provide datasets to assist agencies with their transition from the Environmental Protection Agency’s MOBILE5.2 to the latest version of Motor Vehicle Emissions Simulator model, MOVES2010a.

NPS Financial Planning

As part of a team, develop a financial modeling tool for use in the National Parks Service’s Long-Range Transportation Plans and Integrated Park Improvement Plans.

Tennessee DOT OS/OW Permitting System Services and Software Development

Enhance our previously developed oversize/overweight Permitting System for the State, and provide policy, administrative, and information technology services related to the DOT’s operations.

West Virginia DOT Corridor Management Handbook

Prepare a comprehensive guide for state, regional, and local planners and officials that can be used in planning and developing corridor management and preservation plans addressing transportation and land-use issues.

Use travel demand estimation models and economic impact analysis to determine the economic benefits of a proposed limited access highway corridor between Bowling Green, Kentucky and Indianapolis, Indiana.

MetroPlan Orlando Freight, Goods, and Services Plan and Evaluation Study

Develop a blueprint of actions to address the major issues and concerns facing the movement of freight, goods, and services in the area, including air quality, safety, congestion, and other community impacts.

Norwegian Road Federation Road Network Strategic Assessment

Review current cost and benefit estimation models to maintain and expand the road network in Norway, and provide state-of-art alternatives for long-term indirect economic effects of investments in road infrastructure.

U.S. EPA Transportation Emission Reduction and Fuel Savings Programs

Provide as-needed assistance, as part of a team, to support air quality improvement and reduction of fuel consumption programs for the Office of Transportation and Air Quality.

As part of the 2060 Transportation Plan, develop Florida's first statewide strategic plan for economic development in partnership with 11 regional planning councils and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

Develop an approach for identifying and planning statewide or interregional transportation corridors that will be newly created or significantly enhanced over the next 50 years to meet future demand for moving people and freight.

Georgia DOT Strategic Plan and Asset Management Plan

Provide on-call assistance with strategic planning and asset management, including the creation of a sketch planning tool to help Georgia DOT analyze tradeoffs and support resource allocation decisions.

Analyze transportation strategy options that reduce GHG emissions, and develop a toolkit for use by North Jersey Transportation Planning Agency member jurisdictions to help incorporate reduction estimates into transportation and land use plans.
