2011

• Cambridge Systematics designated as one of the Best Workplaces for Commuters.
• The RSF & FHWA recognized the Florida DOT’s “Making Roadways Safer for Motorcycles” program with a 2011 National Roadway Safety Award for its efforts to make roads safer & reduce motorcycle fatalities. Cambridge Systematics supported the development, implementation, and evaluation of this program.
• The West Virginia DOT awarded Cambridge Systematics the Division of Highways Engineering Excellence Award 2011 in the Planning, Traffic & Environmental Category for the West Virginia 2 Rail Linkage Study.
• Paula Dowell receives the NHI Instructor of Excellence Award.
• Cambridge Systematics Ranks #102 on The Zweig Letter 2011 Hot Firm List.
• Cambridge Systematics’ Austin office was selected as a finalist for the 2011 Greater Austin Business Awards in the small-sized company Health and Wellness category by the Austin Chamber of Commerce.
• Cambridge Systematics receives recognition as a bronze-level Bike Friendly Business, awarded by Boston’s Mayor Menino as part of his Annual Bike Friendly Business awards.
• Kenneth Voorhies receives The Herman J. Hoose Distinguished Service Award from SDITE.
• The Maryland DOT 2011 Annual Attainment Report (AR) awarded the Association of Government Accountants’ “Gold” Certificate of Achievement in Service Efforts and Accomplishment Reporting. Cambridge Systematics provided continued support and guidance in developing and implementing M-PACT for the AR and the Maryland Transportation Plan.
• CSV Volunteer and Board Member Robert Taggart Receives Mack I. Davis II Award.
• Cambridge Systematics chosen as a finalist for the inaugural Massachusetts Healthiest Employer Award by the Boston Business Journal.
• Dena Snyder receives a Plaque Award in the 2011 Prudential - Davis Productivity Awards program competition as a member of the Roadway System Performance Reporting Team.
• Fairfax County awarded the 2011 Daniel Burnham Award for the Comprehensive Plan for Tysons Corner. Cambridge Systematics assisted with modeling and evaluation work for the project.

2010

• Cambridge Systematics Earns the Distinction as one of the Best Workplaces for Commuters.
• Cambridge Systematics awarded ITS Connecticut’s ITS Outstanding Project of the Year Award for the Southwestern Region ITS Strategic Plan.
• Transportation Planning Excellence Awards for Minnesota Comprehensive Freight and Passenger Rail Plan and Cheyenne Transportation Safety Management Plan.
• Sashank Musti for receiving the Wootan Award for Outstanding M.S. Thesis in Policy & Planning.
• The International Association for Travel Behaviour Research (IATBR) has awarded the 2009 Eric Pas Dissertation Prize to Jason Lemp.

2009

• Kelsey Ahern Selected as the WTS Eno Foundation Candidate.
• Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS)-Greater Chicago Chapter 2009 Employer of the Year Award.

2008

• Iris Ortiz awarded the Claire Barrett Member of the Year Award for WTS-Boston Chapter.
• Montana DOT, Rail, Transit & Planning Division, awarded the FHWA & FTA Transportation Planning Excellence Award for their Comprehensive Highway Safety Plan and Tribal Safety Plan. Cambridge Systematics assisted the State in designing and executing a process to develop the plan.
• Oregon DOT awarded the FHWA & FTA Transportation Planning Excellence Award for their Long-Range Transportation Plan. Cambridge Systematics assisted with the development of the plan, which was one of the nation’s first statewide multimodal transportation plans.
• Wisconsin DOT awarded the FHWA & FTA Transportation Planning Excellence Award for their Traffic Operations Infrastructure Plan. Cambridge Systematics developed the TOIP Methodology and recommendations for the project.
• Cambridge Systematics received the 2008 Excellence on the Waterfront honor award for work on The Marquette Plan: Indiana’s Vision for Lakeshore Reinvestment.
